Fuso New Zealand has expanded its authorised parts and service network with the addition of two new dealerships
The two new dealerships will also help increase aftersales support for truck and bus operators in Auckland and the East Coast.
From 1 July 2026, Transport Diesel & Marine in Onehunga and East Coast Heavy Diesel & Machinery in Gisborne officially joined Fuso’s authorised Parts and Service (2S) dealer network.
The expansion provides Fuso customers with additional access to manufacturer-approved servicing, warranty work and Genuine Fuso parts in two regions with significant commercial transport activity.
Transport Diesel & Marine has become an authorised 2S dealer from its premises at 30C Alfred Street, Onehunga. The company has been servicing heavy vehicles for more than four decades and will now provide authorised maintenance and parts support for Fuso trucks and buses.
Owners Jim Johnstone and Brendon Morron said becoming part of the Fuso network builds on the company’s established heavy vehicle servicing business and will allow it to provide factory-authorised support to Fuso operators in the Auckland region.
On the East Coast, East Coast Heavy Diesel & Machinery has expanded its relationship with Fuso by adding authorised parts and service operations at its Awapuni, Gisborne facility. The company already represents the brand from its Whakatāne dealership.
Managing director Scott Hale says the additional location would improve access to servicing and technical support for Fuso customers throughout the Gisborne and East Coast regions while complementing the existing operation in Whakatāne.
Fuso New Zealand general manager sales and marketing Torben Freer says the expanded network reflects the importance of providing customers with convenient access to servicing throughout the country, particularly for operators who rely on their vehicles for daily transport and freight operations.
The additions help strengthen Fuso’s nationwide aftersales network, providing greater regional coverage for scheduled maintenance, warranty repairs, technical support and Genuine Fuso replacement parts.
